This Friday Favorites is going to be a little different.
I started this blog with the intention of documenting my inspiration. I used to always keep things in the back of my mind, hoping to one day be able to share them with others. Since I started this blog a month and a half ago, I have been trying to publish original content, like my travel photography or curated shopping lists. I realized after I posted about my winter inspiration that I hadn’t done yet what I started out to do: share what I find beautiful, interesting, inspiring. Alright, enough of my personal spiel.
I didn’t realize how much I loved Fitzgerald’s work until I was scrolling through my Pinterest boards and saw the caption “P.H. Fitzgerald” under a good portion of my pins. I finally googled the name and found Parker Fitzgerald and his body of work. He’s a photographer for Kinfolk Magazine, and has recently come out with a book entitled Overgrowth, a collection of his work in his partnership with florist Riley Messina. (Hopefully, I can get my hands on one and add it to my bookshelf!). I find his work delicate, yet aesthetically dark. He captures raw moments and takes artistic photography to a new level.
