If you know anything about me, chances are that you know how much I love lemonade. And this past Saturday was ‘national lemonade day’, aka now one of my favorite days of the year. To celebrate this glorious occasion, one of my favorite restaurants, Lemonade, released six limited edition lemonade flavors for Saturday only! Not to mention they gave away 12oz lemonades for the afternoon (YAS). So, being the lemonade fanatic that I am, it became my mission to go to San Francisco (the closest location to me) and eat until my heart’s content. I rounded up some friends and we arrived in the city after a (long) four hour drive.
I had never been to Yerba Buena Gardens but I was so happy to find out how close it was to everything! After the most wonderful herb roasted chicken sandwiches and mac n’ cheese (my favorite order), we each bought “pick-me-up” desserts. Lemon meringue, grasshopper pie, nutella cheesecake, oh my! You can never go wrong with Lemonade.
Towards the end of the day, we headed for Lands End off of Point Lobos. I had already taken portraits there, but I was so excited to go back and explore more of the grounds with my friends. The weather was pretty overcast, but the lighting was still just as stunning. The last time I had been there, the tide was so high that we couldn’t walk along the beach. This time around, the tide was low enough for people to climb the huge boulders and play in the waves.
