“You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the dreams you have, the conversations you engage in. You are what you take from these. You are the sound of the ocean, the breath of fresh air, the brightest light and the darkest corner.

You are a collective of every experience you have had in your life. You are every single second of every single day. So drown yourself in a sea of knowledge and existence. Let the words run through your veins and let the colours fill your mind until there is nothing left to do but explode. There are no wrong answers. Inspiration is everything. Sit back, relax, and take it all in. Now, go out and create something.”

Hi there! My name is Sarah (surprise, surprise) and this is my little corner of the internet. Ever since I was in middle school, I have been reading blogs by people from all genres. I loved (and still love) how people can document different things in their lives so beautifully and I always dreamed of having my own virtual space to do the same.

During my freshman year of college in November 2015 and after months of research, I saved up enough money to invest in starting my own blog. For what you may ask? For the photos I would take on road-trips with my friends, for sharing playlists and bands I would become obsessed with, for learning how to tell a story and to tell it well.

Three years later, I’m currently located in Sacramento, California (although I try to travel a bit for work and for pleasure!) doing freelance photography and social media content creation.

  • I consider myself an art history enthusiast. If I ever go back to school, I’d love to major in art history.
  • If I were to move anywhere in the world, it would be Amsterdam. Paris is an obvious choice, but Amsterdam has a special charm about it that I had never experienced before.
  • Despite the amount of times I go to local coffee shops, I hate coffee. My go-to order: either a chai latte or hibiscus tea.
