Balboa Island

Balboa IslandMy dorm floor went out on a GYRAD this weekend. (By the way, that stands for Get Your Roommate A Date). We took duffy boat cruises around Balboa Island and then went for a bonfire dinner and hangout at the beach. Around half of the girls went with other girls from the floor. It’s so fun living in the community that I have; all of the girls hang out with each other and we all have a great time with one another. We almost missed the sunset, and if you know me, that’s a big no-no. But thank goodness, we made it just in time to see the craziest colors light up the sky. Cue Pocahontas singing “Colors of the Wind”.

Chocolate Covered Frozen Banana

Before we even stepped onto the docks, a couple of my friends bought chocolate covered frozen bananas. Naturally, I had to snap a pic.

The person submerged in ocean waves pictured above is a random surfer that would run and surf the small (more medium sized, really) rip-curl waves. The tide became higher and higher so we moved to the bonfires to roast some hot dogs and s’mores. Beautiful sunset fit for a beautiful time. It reminded me of the time I went to Pacific Beach in San Diego, but this time with my college hallmates and lots of boats.

I really love your style of photography! So pretty! Definitely one of my favorites already!
