I’m so excited to share these highlights from my first maternity session! I met Mary and DJ when I was in middle school. They were college students leading my youth group and I have loved watching their relationship throughout the years. I attended their (beautiful) wedding last summer and now they are expecting their first child, a daughter named Nora Jane! I was so nervous for this shoot; I have never shot a couple that actually knew they were being photographed (I did a proposal once), let alone a maternity shoot! As soon as they showed up on location at Shaw’s Cove in Laguna Beach, my job was easy: Mary is the definition of adorable and it was so fun being able to capture the love and excitement that DJ and Mary have for their little girl.
