It had been a very long time since I set aside time to shoot portraits. A few days before this shoot, I took pictures of my friends for a brief period, but nothing serious. Kaleena reached out to me on the ‘gram and we set up a shoot. To be honest, I was extremely apprehensive about this session. I had been sick the day before and on top of that, I had never really shot in morning light. After we met up, we played around with different spots all around the park. My favorite of these was this circular planter that was teeming with cacti. We just stumbled upon it, and those shots turned out to be my favorite from the entire session!
Overall, I’m so happy with how these turned out. I feel like I’m finally nailing down my style and the tones from this shoot were such a dream.
