You’ve seen Sarah (no, not me) on the blog before when we shot a portrait session in Laguna. She and I were close friends in college but we both found our paths leading back home. She lives only an hour away from me, so we decided to reunite for a trip to San Francisco. Taking off at sunrise, we reached a point in our day (around noon) where we had no idea what to do; we had done everything with time to spare! We even left to go 45 minutes outside of the city for dessert, (Pressed Juicery Freeze for the win!).
Going into this trip, we only had one completely set plan: shooting a sunset session in Mount Tamalpais State Park. I had seen images of the rolling golden hills on Instagram prior, and I have seriously been dreaming about a session here. I knew Sarah was the perfect person to bring along; she has such a bright spirit and I love being able to capture her joyous personality. Some of these shots are some of my favorites ever. I know I always say that after a shoot, but with each capture, I fall more and more in love with my passion and I can’t wait to create. Enjoy some of our day below. Also, stay tuned for day two of my back-to-back trips to SF!
You captured some amazing light and wind! Wonderful work!
Thank you Laura! The light blew me away!
