For my first shoot of the year, I finally met up with the sweet Jenn Rogozyan! She’s a fellow photographer in the area and we have been insta-friends for a year or so. She invited me to tag along on a shoot in Point Reyes/North San Francisco with her and some of her friends; I just had to say yes!
The models were, needless to say, gorgeous! This shoot was the first time that I photographed people I didn’t know firsthand! I’m personally super proud of the colors that came out of everything: the wardrobe, the locations, it all came together. Most of the outfits were provided by Jean’s friend and the vintage goodies were so beautiful (i.e. the mint suit set, the fur coat, the denim jumpsuit!). This year, I hope to create more styled fashion content, and this shoot inspired me!
Another fun thing I experimented with: flash photography! My camera has a built-in flash, and I used to think that flash photos looked tacky. But with the right editing, I’ve found that I can (almost) emulate flash disposable camera photography!
