As someone who is proud of the wedding industry here in Sacramento, I am so excited that A&BÉ is opening up a shop in the heart of downtown!
So who are a&bé?
I got to talk to Kait, the boss babe who moved from Portland to head up this location of a&bé. From our talk, this is what I gathered:
- a&bé bridal shop is not a chain.
- they are owned by women, run by women, for women.
- they love being connected to the local community and pick their shop locations to be in up and coming cities, not the mainstream big touristy spots. (this little tidbit made my 916 heart very proud.)
- a portion of every sale goes to one of six women-focused non-profit organizations (!!!)
As I perused through their selection of gowns (which will continue to grow until their grand opening in the fall), I couldn’t help but feel pride for my hometown. Around each and every corner, people are bringing their businesses and ideas and lives to our city, making it more beautiful and diverse than ever before.
Sacramento brides, you need to stop by!
This lil’ beaded number was my favorite of their selection! I’m a sucker for embellishments and details and non-traditional colors for wedding dresses (it’s a light slate grey).
Check out that bling! They have tons of accessories to personalize your wedding day look.
The prettiest of details! Whether you are a classic bride or a boho bride, I can tell there was something for everyone.
Let’s give a warm welcome a&bé bridal shop to Sacramento! We are happy to have you!
